How do I make a reservation?
- Choose the vintage car you like the most.
- Open the form, fill in the required fields and send it to us.
- We’ll contact you. Before completing the reservation process, you must accept the contract and terms and conditions specified therein and make an advance payment to make the agreement binding.
How will I know if it has been confirmed?
We will send you an email confirming that we have received your information and we’ll get in touch with you to discuss all the reservation details.
I made a reservation and I have not received a confirmation. What could have happened?
Check your spam folder, emails often end up there. If you cannot find it, contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone on 644 408 203 and we’ll send you the confirmation.
How long can I hire a classic car for?
As many hours and days that you need, provided there is availability.
Can I hire a vintage car for today?
No, reservations must be made at least one month in advance.
Can I drive it myself?
No, unfortunately our classic cars can only be driven by Rum-rum drivers.
And what about the motorcycles?
Unfortunately, they can’t be ridden either. The motorcycles can’t be used in motion. We rent them for audiovisual productions, events or special occasions.
Can I choose the model of the vehicle?
Yes, as long as it’s available.
How can I modify the reservation details?
Send us an email or phone us and we’ll change them at once.
I need a bill, how do I request it?
Contact us by email at email@example.com. We’ll ask you for your reservation details and your tax information, and we’ll send you the invoice by email.
Can I modify or cancel the reservation?
Yes, provided you let us know by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you cancel the reservation, the advance payment will not be refunded.
Which documents do I need to formalise the reservation?
We’ll request a copy of your ID card and the signed contract.
Are the cars insured?
Yes, all the retro car in our fleet are insured and have all the documentation in order.
Are the classic cars adapted for children?
Children under 12 cannot sit in the vehicles when they are moving, since the cars have not been adapted to enable children to travel in them.
Is it possible to pick up the car at a specific place? Is there an extra charge for this service?
The place of delivery of the vintage car will always be agreed with you, as well as the route and hours of use. However, please remember that the cost of hiring a vintage car is effective as soon as the vehicle leaves our facilities in La Pera (Girona).
Which forms of payment are available?
You can make the advance payment and settlement via bank transfer, PayPal/TransferWise/Stripe or in cash, whichever is more convenient for you.
How does the payment work?
When making the reservation you will have to make an advance payment of 50%. The remaining 50% will have to be paid no later than 15 days before the day you have requested to use the car. If we do not receive the initial 50% payment, your reservation will automatically be cancelled after 3 days.
If the car breaks down, is there any kind of guarantee?
In the event of a breakdown, Rum-rum will provide you with another car of the same category, which will be agreed upon previously.
Can I smoke, eat or drink in the car?
No, it is forbidden.
What equipment does the vehicle have?
All our classic cars keep the original series equipment. No modifications have been made.
